OMED-BSO Juneteenth Celebration

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. 

Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’s Office of Minority Educational Development (OMED) and several campus Black student organizations will host a Juneteenth virtual discussion event Friday, June 18, 11 a.m. - noon, featuring speaker André Brock, associate professor with Ivan Allen College’s School of Literature, Media, and Communication. Tune in at http://bit.ly/OMEDJuneteenth2021.

Students are then invited to an in-person celebraion on Tech Green from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
