Georgia Tech Lorraine: Tech's European Campus

Primary tabs

Did you know that over 56% percent of Georgia Tech undergraduate students participate in an experience abroad, for example, studying or interning abroad? Tech encourages students to become global citizens and gain international experience, but it is also important that students stay on track toward their degree and obtain the top-notch educational experience that Tech provides. So, why not give your student the best of both worlds: a semester at Georgia Tech-Lorraine, Tech’s European campus!

Georgia Tech-Lorraine is located in historic Metz, France, just 90 minutes from Paris by train. Students from all majors can study at Georgia Tech-Lorraine any semester and all credits transfer seamlessly, as well as most financial aid. Have a student that doesn’t speak French? No problem! Courses are taught in English by Georgia Tech faculty and no French language skills are necessary.

Classes this fall will be held in a hybrid format, both online and in-person with social distancing guidelines in place in all classrooms and dorms, and access to Covid testing for all students. Our students have managed to do quite a bit of traveling within Europe during the pandemic and are kept up to date about travel restrictions and safety protocols by Georgia Tech-Lorraine’s staff.
