Professor Allen Hyde Awarded AGREC Grant

School of History and Sociology assistant professor Allen Hyde was awarded a 2020-21 Atlanta Global Research and Education Collaborative (AGREC) grant to “Advancing a Community-Based Participatory Research Model for Metropolitan Regional: Immigrant Integration and Receptivity through the One Region Initiative.” This grant includes a research team of scholars from Georgia Tech, Georgia State, and Kennesaw State to help fund scholarly research to evaluate Welcoming America's (a local nonprofit) One Region Initiative, which helped promote welcoming policies and practices for immigrants and refugees in the Atlanta metropolitan region.
