CACP Researcher to be panelist on Voting, Technology, and Ethics: A View from Experts

CACP’s Paul M.A. Baker will be a panelist on Voting, Technology, and Ethics: A View from Experts sponsored by Ivan Allen College’s Ethics, Technology, and Human Interaction Center (ETHICx). 

This virtual panel discussion asks a simple, but complex, question: How can we best improve voting in the United States?  Participants include: Dr. Juan Gilbert, the Banks Family Preeminence Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer & Information Science & Engineering at the University of Florida, Dr. Ellen Zegura, Fleming Professor in the School of Computer Science at Georgia Tech, and Dr. Paul M.A. Baker, the Senior Director of Research and Strategic Innovation at Georgia Tech’s Center for Advanced Communications Policy (CACP), and Interim Chief Operating Officer at the Center for the Development and Application of Internet of Things Technologies (CDAIT), and a Principal Research Scientist with the School of Public Policy.  The event will be on November 10, 2020 from 3pm-4pm on BlueJeans at https://bit.ly/2GFAZK0
