TECHnically Creative: Georgia Tech Alumni and the Arts with George Levert

Primary tabs

Meet George Levert, M.S. IMGT 1974

Having served as a Naval Officer in the Civil Engineering Corps in Vietnam, George W. Levert, M.S. IMGT 1974 studied business in graduate school to complement his engineering degree. After a long career in venture capital (he was the Founding Partner (Retired), at Kinetic Ventures, LLC), he is now focused on his love of photography. Levert began photographing the people he met in Southeast Asia while in the Navy, but that part of his life remained in the background until, when he started traveling again, friends told him that his photos showed an eye for composition. He began a quest to undertake cultural photography around the world and has traveled to more than 80 countries on five continents.
