Photoshop for Beginners (Online)

Adobe Photoshop is a graphics/image editing program included in the Adobe Creative Suite. The software is often used by graphic artists, print designers, visual communicators,and regular people like you.

Pictures in things such as posters, books, magazines,and brochures are often created or edited in Photoshop.

In this online session, we will experiment with variety of photoshop tools and techniques to get you started. We will cover things such as: Liquify, Cloning tools, Spot healing, blending images using layer masks, examples of portrait retouching, adjusting image brightness/contrast and creating special effects.

*Important : If you want to try hands on exercises during the class session and do not already have access to Photoshop, you will need to log into Photoshop via Georgia Tech's Vlab prior to the session starting for a hands on experience. Georgia Tech Log in required for access to this resource. Information will be sent to you prior to the session at the email you register with.
