Parking Enforcement to Resume in August

Primary tabs

Parking and Transportation Services appreciates the campus community's cooperation over the past few months as enforcement efforts  were reduced to accommodate faculty, staff and students who needed campus parking during the Institute’s closure.

Enforcement is a parking management tool used to not only to ensure permit customers that their parking spaces are available but also to educate customers on parking rules and guidelines. As preparations are made to come back to campus, please be aware of our enforcement implementation and parking resources starting this fall.

Beginning Saturday, August 1, 2020, PTS will resume parking enforcement of unauthorized vehicles parked in restricted/reserved spaces, ADA spaces, visitor’s pay lot and no parking zones. Please note:

  • Customers may continue parking on campus without permits except in the aforementioned areas through August 14, 2020.
  • Parking deck gates will remain down for security.

Beginning August 15, 2020, enforcement will resume for all permit locations and visitors parking. Campus parking will require a valid permit or payment of posted hourly rates in visitor’s areas.
