Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment

Out of an abundance of care for our current and future Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC) community members and as recommended by the National Panhellenic Conference, Fall 2020 Primary Recruitment will be conducted fully virtually. Our chapters are excited to host this bold new opportunity and welcome new members into their sisterhood this fall. CPC is working around the clock to ensure the best possible recruitment experience for all. While every single detail is still being thoughtfully considered, you can find the most up-to-date information about the process here and a list of Frequently Asked Questions here. The dates of CPC recruitment will remain the same: Aug. 13-16 with a mandatory virtual orientation on Aug. 10. Students who have already registered for recruitment can expect to be contacted by their recruitment counselor in mid-July to answer any questions. Recruitment counselors will be reaching out on a rolling basis to those who register later this summer. The deadline to register is Aug. 10.

Interfraternity Council (IFC) Recruitment

IFC will be hosting formal recruitment from Wednesday, Aug. 12, through Monday, Aug. 17. Taking into consideration everyone’s health and safety, the majority of the recruitment process will be conducted virtually. The last two days, chapters will be able to invite potential members to their houses for a designated period of time with a limited number of students per visit. All students will be required to wear face coverings and remain physically distant. Interested students must register for IFC recruitment here and attend a virtual orientation session conducted by the Interfraternity Council. More information can be found at: fraternity.gatech.edu and greek.gatech.edu

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) Recruitment

The Multicultural Greek Council is a council of five culturally based fraternities and sororities. Each chapter will host their own week of rush events. As an introduction to the chapters, the council will host the MGC Kickoff Event on Aug. 20. This event will provide all interested students the chance to meet the chapters and members. First-year students are eligible to join and encouraged to come to the event. For more information about MGC and its chapters, check out their website and their MGC Recruitment Guide.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Intake Process

The National Pan-Hellenic Council is a council of eight historically African American fraternities and sororities. Each chapter will host their own membership intake activities throughout the semester. Students much have at least 12 credit hours to be eligible for membership, but are still encouraged to attend programs and events hosted by the chapters. As an opportunity to connect with the chapters we encourage students to attend NPHC events. Learn more about the events and the chapters through their social media.
