What's Included in First-Year Meal Plans

Primary tabs

Living on campus provides endless dining options! Georgia Tech’s residential dining plans give students the best of both worlds — from all-you-care-to-eat dining halls to on-campus retail dining locations. First-year students are required to purchase either the Everyday or Weekday Plan for their first year at Georgia Tech.

Everyday Plan (Used Monday – Sunday): 4 Meal Swipes per day + 5 Guest Meals + $100 Dining Dollars + $50 BuzzCard Funds + 5 White & Gold Events

Weekday Plan (Used Monday – Friday): 4 Meal Swipes per day + 5 Guest Meals + $100 Dining Dollars + $250 BuzzCard Funds + 5 White & Gold Events

Each plan includes Meal Swipes, Guest Meals, Dining Dollars, BuzzCard Funds and White & Gold Events:

Meal Swipes can be used at residential restaurants for all-you-care-to-eat diningor in select retail locations for designated meal swipe options.

Dining Dollars are sales tax-exempt funds that can be used at all Georgia Tech Dining Services locations for snacks, coffee, or meals. These funds rollover from fall semester to spring semester, then expire at the end of spring semester.

Guest Meals can be used to bring friends and family to dine on campus.

BuzzCard Funds are accepted at more than 200 campus locations, including dining options, printing services, and laundry facilities, and they never expire.

"White & Gold" events are premium events hosted by Dining Services throughout each semester with various themes and cuisines prepared by our chefs.
