President Cabrera, Other Leaders to Host Virtual Town Halls

President Ángel Cabrera and other Institute leaders will host a series of virtual town halls for various groups within the Georgia Tech community beginning Wednesday, April 15. They will share updates and answer questions with four audiences: all Tech employees, current students and their families, teaching and research faculty including GTRI, and accepted students and their parents.

Following the live sessions, the town halls will be posted for online viewing. Questions may be submitted in advance at townhall@gatech.edu. They may also be submitted during the events.

Two employee town halls will take place April 15. Both will feature President Cabrera; Rafael L. Bras, provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs; Chaouki Abdallah, executive vice president for Research; Kelly Fox, executive vice president for Administration and Finance; and Kim Harrington, associate vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer.

John Stein, vice president for Student Life and the Brandt-Fritz Dean of Students Chair, will join President Cabrera for town halls with current students and their families on April 16 from 2 to 3 p.m. and again from 8 to 9 p.m.

A town hall for teaching and research faculty, along with GTRI, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17. Hosting with President Cabrera will be Bras and Abdallah. A town hall for students accepted to Georgia Tech and their families will be held Thursday, April 23 at 5 p.m. Hosts will be Rick Clark, director of Undergraduate Admission, and President Cabrera.
