Spring 2020 Enrollment

U.S-based recruitment efforts for the Spring 2020 semester at Georgia Tech-Lorraine was in full-swing from May 15, 2019 through October 1, 2019. Both on-campus recruitment and visits to U.S. partner school campuses led to a final enrollment of 158 undergraduate students and 25 non-dual degree graduate students.

Of the 158 undergraduate students, 12 students join us from universities outside of Georgia Tech, including Bucknell, Clemson, Cornell, University of Virginia, Vanderbilt and University of Colorado-Boulder. Word continues to spread about the Georgia Tech-Lorraine program.

The non-dual degree graduate students come to Georgia Tech-Lorraine from the U.S. and all over the world, including countries such as India, China, Indonesia, Morocco, and Turkey, for degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering.

Metz-based graduate recruiting efforts are handled by Bertrand Boussert, Georgia Tech-Lorraine’s Academic Director. “For Spring we have XX (waiting on number) dual-degree masters students studying at GTL in Metz, and 49 completing their final semester of studies on the Atlanta campus,” said Dr. Boussert. “We’re pleased to have our first cohort from new partner school, Comillas, in Madrid, Spain, participating in the program,” added Boussert.
