"Discovery of a novel small RNA associated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa human infection" by Pengbo Cao

Understanding how bacterial pathogens behave in situ during infections is critical for designing effective treatment strategies. However, bacteria have long been studied using in vitro laboratory models that have limits in encapsulating the complexities of human infection. The aim of my study is to understand a gene signature associated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Pa) human infection, which has been overlooked in prior in vitro studies. We propose a potential strategy that Pa uses to adapt to host environments during infection.
