Role-based security in OneUSG Connect provisions access for Georgia Tech employees to initiate transactions, view reports, approve time, and take other types of actions in the system. After Go-Live in Spring 2020, most role-based access provisioning is done automatically by the OneUSG Connect system. For example, anyone with a direct report will be provisioned by the system with the Manager role.

Automated Workflow in OneUSG Connect will route Manager Self-Service (MSS) transactions through an established approval process at Georgia Tech before the transaction is finalized in the system.
