The 8th Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy will be held on October 14-16 2019 at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, which is located at 84 5th Street NW.

The Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy provides a showcase for the highest quality scholarship from around the world addressing the challenges and characteristics of science and innovation policy and processes

​Where do science and innovation fit in global dynamics today?

  • Should policies stoke innovation fires as the engines of growth or direct them to solve environmental challenges?
  • Is technology-based industry creating and sharing prosperity?
  • How will it affect the future of work?

Questions like these will animate the debates in Atlanta this October.

Spanning two and a half days, the conference will include plenary sessions reflecting different facets of the science and innovation system, presentations of well-developed research, and an early career poster session.

Registration for the conference is now open. If you would like to attend the conference banquet, you must register in advance. The banquet will take place from 6 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019. Those also participating in the Global TechMining Conference on Thursday, October 17, can register here.
