Students for Life is hosting Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., to speak on campus on October 1st at 7pm in East Architecture Auditorium (Room 123). She is a former college professor and worked in the Georgia State legislature. Both her father and uncle were integral to the original civil rights movement, and she has spent her life continuing their legacy. She will be speaking on continuing the MLK legacy through civil rights activism and encouraging students to get involved in protecting human rights.
