Primary tabs

This December, Georgia Tech’s Model United Nation Program (GTMUN) will be traveling to the United Arab Emirates to conduct two separate conferences in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. These two conferences, GTMUN Emirates Abu Dhabi and GTMUN Emirates Dubai, are co-sponsored by the Hale Education Group and Georgia Tech’s Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. The GTMUN Emirates High School Conference 2019 will take place from December 15th - 17th, 2019 in Dubai and from December 18th – 21st, 2019 in Abu Dhabi. Students from around the region and world are invited to discuss and formulate solutions to current international problems. The GTMUN program will run and facilitate the conference for the high school students.

The Georgia Tech Model United Nations (GTMUN) program strives to provide students with a forum in which they can actively interact with international relations. Model UN allows students to apply nearly any academic skill set to a variety of situations. Regardless of a student’s major, Model UN allows all participants to express themselves creatively as they attempt to address pressing international concerns, alter historical truths or fight for future interests. In order to facilitate this, GTMUN attends a number of collegiate Model UN competitions throughout the fall and spring semesters. GTMUN has attended competitions at Harvard University, Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania, Emory University, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, in addition to having participated in the National Model United Nations conference in New York. The GTMUN program also conducts two conferences on campus- one collegiate and one high school conference. The GTMUN program will use this same format for their conference in The United States abroad for the Emirates conferences.

The Hale Education Group strives to cultivate and guide the holistic development of students, helping them to achieve their fullest potential through the empowerment of American higher education.
