Like Picasso and Einstein: Lines, Forms and Dimensions

Primary tabs

“Like Picasso and Einstein: lines, forms and dimensions,” a gallery exhibition that takes you to the intersection of art and science, features student artwork from the Georgia Tech course CEE 8813: Visual Arts and Geometry.

A unique graduate class developed and taught by Professor Francesco Fedele, this course introduced students to the geometry of space and manifolds, and how these concepts influenced modern arts and sciences, i.e. Cubism and Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.

This course was created with the support of the Georgia Tech Office of the Arts’ Creative Curriculum Initiatives (CCI), dedicated to promoting connections between the arts and Georgia Tech’s core academic disciplines.

This exhibit is presented by The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering with the support of the Georgia Tech Office of Arts.
