The Georgia Tech Counseling Center is offering multiple 50-minute workshops to all members of the GT Community. All workshops begin at 11 AM in Instructional Center room 109.

  • February 5: Don't Believe Everything You Think: Using Logic to Overcome Stress - Learn how to recognize and change thought patterns that cause unecessary stress. 
  • February 12: Boosting your Academic Self-Confidence - Experiencing decreased levels of confidence in your academic life can make it harder to cope with academic demands. This workshop will examine various factors that negatively impact academic self-confidence, and identify a number of strategies aimed at helping you improve this area of your life.
  • February 19: Overcoming the Stressors of Perfectionism and Procrastination - Perfectionism and procrastination are key ingredients in the recipe for stress and inefficiency. In this workshop, you will learn about strategies for overcoming perfectionism and for putting an end to procrastination.
  • February 26: Stress Management and Strategies for International Students - This workshop examines common stressors of international students that arise from functioning in a different culture, provides information about the personal impact of acculturative stress, and reviews various strategies to enhance your cultural adjustment.
