LGBTQIA Mentoring Program

Primary tabs

As an LGBTQIA graduate student, it can be helpful to have an LGBTQIA faculty or staff mentor to help you with preparing for your first post-grad job, growing your career, building your networks, getting general support around being LGBTQIA at work, and other skills. A mentoring relationship might look like meeting for coffee or lunch monthly, exchanging questions and answers over email, or whatever commitment you and your mentor agree to!

All mentors and mentees will complete registration forms to help match you to one another. GT Grad Pride (https://www.gtgradpride.com) and the Pride Employee Resource Group (http://lgbtqia.gatech.edu/pride-employee-resource-group) which is made up of LGBTQIA professionals at Georgia Tech are also excited to host the first Mentor Mingle for LGBTQIA grad students and employees to get to know one another and find a possible mentor/mentee match in person. Free lunch provided!

Mentor Mingle: Friday, 22nd February 12-1pm ( Location info will be shared via a confirmation email)

You can still sign up to be assigned a mentor if you're unable to attend the event. All interested mentees must complete a Mentee Sign-Up form no later than Friday, 15 February.

If you are interested in the event, please fill out this RSVP form.
