School of Psychology's MAP lab Research Assistant Sarah Freeman Awarded Penelope W. and E. Roe Stamps IV President’s Scholarship.

Sarah Freeman, a GT Neurscience Major working in the School of Psychology's MAP lab Research Assistant Sarah Freeman Awarded Penelope W. and E. Roe Stamps IV President’s Scholarship.  This is a full-ride scholarship that includes:

  • An enrichment stipend equivalent to the number of years remaining at Georgia Tech multiplied by $3,750. For example, if you have two years remaining, you would have $7,500 available until you graduate, or if three, then $11,250. Purposes include:
    • international travel, including outdoor leadership or alternative break experiences
    • unpaid research or unpaid government/non-profit-type internship
    • academic, leadership or service conferences
  • Access to the national network of Stamps Scholars at more than 40 universities nationwide
  • All expenses paid participation in bi-annual Stamps Scholars National Conventions (taking place April 12-14, 2019)
  • A Stamps President’s Scholars cohort retreat every year
  • Professional opportunities focused on scholarship, leadership, progress and service
  • Networking and mentoring from dedicated faculty, alumni, upperclassmen and SPS staff, including four faculty guides, two assigned to your cohort and two who focus on leadership for all scholars.
