Campus Leaders Come Together as Champions for the Financials Transformation

Primary tabs

The Financials Transformation Program team has officially launched the Change Network on campus. The Change Network is a group of financial users and leaders across campus who will help ensure units have a direct lifeline into the program and are able to receive communications. The Change Network is made up of three roles:

  • Champions: Campus leaders who advocate for and represent the transformation.
  • Change Agents: Financial users who will share program communications and updates and represent their unit’s interests to the Program Team. There is at least one Change Agent for each academic, research, and administrative unit on campus.
  • Gurus: Workday super users that are embedded across campus to help financial users troubleshoot and transition to the new system after go-live.

The Change Network launch started with the Champions Workshop. During this workshop, Champions learned about resources available for Program outreach and discussed ideas on how to leverage existing tools on campus to advocate for the Program. Associate VP of Institute Planning and Resource Management, Jennifer Hubert is looking forward to representing the transformation as a Champion.

“This Transformation will help the Institute better use resources through a common system and set of processes, helping financial processes at Georgia Tech become more efficient.”
