Focus Graduate Studies Open House

The Georgia Tech Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts will participate in the Friday, January 18, 2019, Focus program designed to recruit historically underrepresented minority students to Georgia Tech graduate programs and to graduate school in general.

 Anyone interested in learning about graduate degree programs in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts (IAC) is also welcome to attend this Focus IAC Open House. The schedule will include a FOCUS IAC dean's breakfast; IAC School visits for prospective graduate students with faculty, staff, and current graduate students; and a lunch for all current IAC graduate students, faculty, and staff, and all prospective graduate students.

Below is the timeline for the Focus Graduate Studies Open House:

7:45 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.: FOCUS IAC dean’s breakfast in the Student Center (Room 320) for visiting students and any interested graduate program representatives with Dean Royster. 

9:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.: IAC School visits for prospective graduate students with faculty, staff, and current graduate students. Visiting students should have the opportunity to tour the building, learn about the curriculum and funding, and ask questions. They should be guided to lunch at Wardlaw.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch for all current IAC graduate students, faculty, staff to meet with prospective graduate students Gordy Room, Wardlaw. 

The IAC School visits will occur in the Schools. Visit the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts Facilities and Locations webpage for school addresses.
