Costas Arvanitis, researcher in the Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience at the Georgia Institute of Technology and assistant professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, is part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers that was awarded an NSF grant to study the coupling of skull-brain vibroacoustics and ultrasound for enhanced therapy and diagnosis.

Arvanitis (also an assistant professor in the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering) and his fellow researchers received a grant designed to support research that addresses demanding, urgent, and consequential challenges for advancing America’s prosperity, health and infrastructure.
