3MT Workshop 3: Special Tips and Practice for International Graduate Students

Primary tabs

An 80,000-word thesis typically takes nine hours to present. Could you present yours in three minutes?

Since 2015, Georgia Tech's Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition has helped graduate students hone their communication skills by challenging them to share their research in three minutes in a way anyone could understand.

This workshop, conducted by Karen Tucker, director of the Language Institute, will offer an opportunity for international students to practice their 3MT presentation delivery and nonverbal queues.

This is the third of four workshops that will be offered in September and early October to help graduate students develop their Three Minute Thesis presentations. (The preliminaries will be held in October, and the final round will occur in November.)
