FSU Law Summer for Undergraduates application deadline

Primary tabs

The Donald J. Weidner Summer for Undergraduates Program brings undergraduate students to Florida State University Law from throughout the country for a month-long immersion into legal study. The largest and oldest of its kind, the primary goal of the program is to acquaint students with the study of law and to assist them in acquiring skills that will benefit their undergraduate and future law school studies.

The program will be held from May 21- June 15, 2018. It is open to all rising sophomores, juniors and seniors.  We have had a number of UGA students attend this program, and all concur that it was a very valuable experience, both in helping set professional goals and with the application process itself.

Florida State Law provides all meals, residence-hall accommodations, course materials, and a stipend to all participants. Students are responsible only for their travel expenses to and from Tallahassee.  The deadline for students to apply is Friday, March 30, 2018.
