Melvin Kranzberg, co-founder of the Society for the History of Technology and the Callaway Professor of the History of Technology at Georgia Tech from 1972 to 1988, is known for his “laws of technology.” These laws, and their continuing relevance, were recently featured in the Wall Street Journal.
