Undergraduate students can now experience Washington, DC like never before. Leadership and the American Presidency is a new immersive and experiential opportunity for students to spend the summer or semester in the nation's capital. Co-sponsored by The Fund for American Studies, Leadership and the American Presidency is looking to cultivate the next generation of citizen leaders.

The internship component is an integral part of the LTAP experience. The dedicated LTAP staff is committed to facilitating an internship placement process that ensures alignment with students skill sets and interests as well as a mutual fit with a site. All students who are admitted to and enrolled in LTAP are guaranteed to be placed in an internship.

Upon your arrival in Washington, DC, you will receive world-class training from LTAP staff that will prepare you to be successful in your placement. We are committed to cultivating citizen leaders in every capacity, including as conscious members of professional organizations and communities.
