The entire Georgia Tech Community is invited to the West Village Open House, Georgia Tech's newest facility boasting new dining options, classrooms, meeting and lounge space, and more. The occasion will be marked with activities to help you explore all that West Village has to offer:

1st floor:
Open Rehearsal - Listen to the sweet sounds of Georgia Tech’s Chamber Choir, Chorale, and Glee Club in the Concert Hall, and explore the latest in gesture-driven music technology with Women in Music Technology. (1st Floor Music Classrooms)

Waste Audit and Game - Join the Office of Campus Sustainability for the latest audit of West Village’s innovative sorting program at 10am, then stick around to win prizes when you play our sorting game! 

Lawn Games & More - Enjoy Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and tabling from our partners Wing Zone, the Common Market, and Coca-Cola - stop by for a coke float! 

2nd floor:
Sampling - Try our new menu offerings inspired by student feedback, and see a live Village Bakery demonstration with samples from our own Chef Kat!

Chef’s Demo - Guest Chef and season 14 contestant on Hell’s Kitchen, Christine Hazel, will prepare two delicious entrees: Southern Fried Chicken Tacos and a Braised Short Rib Mac & Cheese, available at Local Chef. 

3rd floor:
Chocolate Meditation – Join YES PLUS for a 15 minute meditation that explores the sweeter side of mindfulness! (Ensemble Room)

Leave Your Mark - Write "quiet" and other library words in whatever languages you know. We will include your contribution in a large wall graphic going into the Unplugged Reading Room on the 2nd floor. We’ll give bubbles to play with to anyone who contributes!
