Jerry Gonzalez, Executive Director

Title of Talk: Immigration and Georgia Law

Jerry Gonzalez is Executive Director of GALEO (Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials) and is constantly promoting smarter approaches to immigration policy in Georgia. He is an active promoter of immigrant causes in Georgia and will show the documentary "Fighting 529" and then discuss the latest issues affecting Hispanic migrants. This presentation is a must for all students interested in immigration, migrant labor issues in Georgia, Latin Americanists, Public Policy and Political Science students, double majors in Spanish, and Spanish students in general.

After attending, students will have the option of applying for an internship with GALEO.

Refreshments will be provided.
