This event will be held on October 6th from 1 to 4 PM at Coca-Cola's SEIC (Shopper Experience Innovation Center) building--a convinient location for Tech students. The goal of this event is to attract women to the consumer products and retail industry and this will be a great learning and networking event. The SEIC contains two retail environments that are customizable for any channel—from supermarket to convenience retail to specialty retail and more. The idea is that students will be put into groups and rotate down each aisle as there will be a speaker who will talk about their company and the products displayed (manufacturing, marketing, pricing, etc.). There will be NEW members from many different companies (Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, etc.) and since it is on Coke’s campus it is a great opportunity to make contacts for those upperclassmen looking for jobs after graduation.
