Professors Mueller, Swire Quoted In Washington Internet Daily

Primary tabs

Professors Milton Mueller and Peter Swire were both quoted on internet policy issues in the June 27 edition of the Washington Internet Daily publication. Mueller was quoted at great length via his June 22 Internet Governance Project article titled "How ICANN Is Manipulating Its GDPR Discussions," which can be found here. Swire's comments were in regard to his concern about the privacy logistics within the WHOIS process.

Neither Mueller nor Swire are strangers to internet policy. In 2004, Mueller co-founded the aforementioned Internet Governance Project, which he co-directs to this day. Swire, who holds a law degree from Yale and currently has a courtesy appointment with the School of Public Policy, served on President Obama's Review Group on Intelligence and Communications Technology and as co-chair of the global Do Not Track process for the World Wide Web Consortium.
