Historic Savant Building Under Renovation

The project includes removing all non-historic structural elements on the first floor and creating a new suite for the office of the Dean of the Ivan Allen College. In addition to the office suites, all of the windows and entry doors will be replaced in order restore the building’s historical appearance. Second and third floors will remain occupied during construction.

- Start Date: May 22, 2017
- Anticipated End Date: August 30, 2017
- Normal working hours: 7am-5pm
Campus Detours or Interruptions:
There will be no office relocations during this project. Building visitors heading to the second and third floors will need to utilize a connecting bridge at Swann building to gain access.
The construction staging area on Cherry Street will be cordoned off.
The Ivan Allen College, Office of Graduate Studies and Office of International Education WILL NOT be relocated.
