Yan Takes Second Place at CRIDC Conference

Economics doctoral student Sen Yan took second place honors at the fifth annual Ivan Allen College Career, Research, and Innovation Development Conference (CRIDC) which was held January 27, 2017. The winners of the paper competition were announced on February 9, 2017, at the campus-wide CRIDC event.
CRIDC featured paper presentations from 24 graduate students on a variety of topics ranging from intellectual property to science policy and regulation. Sen Yan's research paper was entitled “Intellectual Property Rights, Innovation, and Exports.”
Yan is a third year doctoral student in Economics at Georgia Tech. He received his B.A. in Economics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research areas are international economics, industrial organization, and internet economy.
