Grad Week

Primary tabs

As graduates face down their last month as Tech students, the Student Government Association has organized a week of events to make it memorable.

Grad Week, which will take place April 7–14, is meant to help graduating students reminisce about their time at Tech and enjoy a few last events together as students. View the list of events below, with more information and signups at graduationweek.gatech.edu. Some events are open to all students, not just graduates.

Students who purchase tickets for either Graduates at Topgolf or Tech Square Takeover by Friday, April 7, at 5 p.m. will be entered to win either a free professional graduation photo shoot or free fast passes for Midnight Breakfast.

Ramblin' On: Friday, April 7

Ramblin' On is the annual graduation party hosted by the Student Alumni Association (SAA), in partnership with Georgia Tech Athletics, to help students celebrate their graduation from Tech.

Graduates @ Topgolf: Sunday, April 9 (now open to all students, not just graduates)

The Student Center Programs Council is co-hosting this event, where students can have a fun-filled night with friends at Topgolf in Midtown. The $20 registration includes food, three hours of play, and transportation. Topgolf's lower lounge area also includes foosball, pool tables, shuffleboard, and XBox Kinect.

Ride Out In Style: Monday, April 10

Graduating seniors will have a chance to ride a lap in the Reck as a farewell to the iconic motorized mascot.

SAA Spirit Day: Tuesday, April 11

Stop by Tech Walkway to pick up a one-of-a-kind pewter replica of the Reck as a graduation gift from SAA and learn about upcoming events for graduating students.

Helluva Hey Day: Wednesday, April 12

The goal of the day is to have students, faculty, staff, and administration alike say “Hey!” to one another by name, wherever they are on campus. Whether it’s at the bus stop or in line for Panda Express, SGA hopes Helluva Hey Day will foster community on campus and send graduates off with a friendly smile.

SAA Graduating Student Photo Opportunities: Thursday, April 13

SAA will have four photographers on campus at Tech Tower, the Corliss Pump (behind Tech Tower), in front of the Alumni Association's Reck, and on top of Clough Commons to take free pictures of graduating SAA members.

Tech Square Takeover: Friday, April 14 (now open to all students, not just graduates)

Join other graduates for a lively restaurant tour of popular venues in Tech Square, including the Georgia Tech Hotel, Ray's, and Barrelhouse.

One Last Brittain Brunch: Friday, April 14

Enjoy a last on-campus dining experience at Brittain Dining Hall any time from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
