The Techlectric Light Orchestra, Georgia Tech’s newest musical ensemble, consists entirely of mobile phones, and the Georgia Tech Chorale, the non-auditioned mixed choir, will be singing music from the twentieth century. Norman Dello Joio’s monumental To St. Cecilia will be featured alongside works selected by the student singers. Come see four world premieres of new works written by members of the group that features flashing lights, graphical scores, and new ways of combining traditional instruments and voices with cutting-edge technology.
