Celebrate graduates, enjoy live theater, learn more about undergraduate research, and attend a free picnic – all in one week at Tech.

Monday, April 10

  • What: Grad Week      
  • When: All Week         
  • Where: Throughout Campus and the Atlanta Area

All 2017 graduates (spring, summer, and fall) are invited to participate in Grad Week 2017 from April 7–14. The mission of Grad Week is to create a space where the graduating class can reminisce about their Tech experience while participating in events with a community of fellow Yellow Jackets. For more details regarding events and registration, visit the Grad Week website.

Tuesday, April 11

Attend the Undergraduate Research Fair hosted by the Student Government Association and Undergraduate Research Ambassadors to learn more about what undergraduate research opportunities are available at Tech. Undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty will be available to talk about their labs and how students can get involved. 

Wednesday, April 12

Learn the basics of pottery for $25. Register by calling Paper and Clay at 404-894-2827. Upcoming classes will also be held on April 13, 19, and 23.

  • When: Nightly 
  • Where: Rohr Chabad Center, West Campus

Join Chabad at Georgia Tech for free dinners to celebrate Passover. Read more and RSVP on the Chabad website.

Thursday, April 13

Head out to the Instructional Center Lawn for the Institute of Industrial Engineers' Annual Spring Picnic. This year’s picnic is bigger and better than ever, including Chick-fil-A, King of Pops, puppies, a photo booth, canvas painting, bumper balls, and more. The event is free and open to all majors but members of the Institute of Industrial Engineers will receive a free t-shirt upon attendance.

Friday, April 14

The Musical of Musicals: The Musical is a show from Joanne Bogart and Eric Rockwell. Each act parodies the style of an American or British musical theater composer while the plot focuses on the theme, “I can’t pay my rent!” Come out for great music and a fun musical. Students can reserve tickets here for $8.

Saturday, April 15

For an afternoon of tennis, head out to Ken Byers Tennis Complex. The women’s team will take on Notre Dame in a match that cannot be missed. Students get in free with a BuzzCard.

Sunday, April 16

  • What: Easter  
  • When: All Day
  • Where: Throughout Campus and the Atlanta Area 

Students looking to celebrate Easter on or near campus have the opportunity to attend services on campus at the Wesley Foundation and Catholic Center, or off campus at All Saints Episcopal Church, Grace Midtown Church, or Tenth Street Underwood Memorial United Methodist Church.
