We would like to invite you to The Global Media Fest: Sustainability Across Languages and Cultures, a wonderful opportunity to view documentaries and exchange ideas with international filmmakers and scholars who discuss sustainability issues around the globe.

Our program for this year consists of 4 screenings featuring documentaries from Germany, China, Mexico, and France. After each screening, we will have a panel discussion with the filmmakers followed by dinner. Come with your friends and learn more about the role of media in shaping ideas and debates associated with sustainability and global challenges.

Tuesday, April 11, 2017, Clary Theater (Bill Moore Success Center), from 4:30-8:00pm: Screening of Demain (Tomorrow, France, 2015), followed by Conversation, Dinner and Panel Discussion with scholars TBA. 

Demain (Tomorrow) follows a team of four people carrying out an investigation in ten different countries to figure out what may lead to the possible extinction of a part of mankind before the end of the 21st century, and above all how to avoid it.
