LiveHealth Online Kiosk Now Open!

Primary tabs

The LiveHealth Online kiosk is now open in Healthy Space, located across from the information desk on the second floor of the Student Center.

Health & Well-Being partnered with the University System of Georgia and Staff Council to bring the LiveHealth Online kiosk to campus.

As with the LiveHealth Online program accessed through personal computers or mobile devices, the kiosk is available to both Georgia Tech students and employees, and connects users face-to-face with a board-certified physician 24 hours a day, seven days a week — even when campus is closed. LiveHealth is available through a secure and private video chat with a Georgia-based physician. Use LiveHealth Online to get medical advice and receive a diagnosis or prescription, if needed. You can fill that prescription right on campus at the Stamps Pharmacy, located next to Campus Recreation.

If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance or have the student health insurance plan, the cost to use LiveHealth Online is typically equivalent to your copay. For all other insurance plans, or for those who do not have insurance, the cost is $49 per online visit. You’ll be notified of the cost of the appointment upfront, and payment is expected at the time of your visit. A BuzzCard is required to enter the LiveHealth room and use the kiosk.

Registration is highly recommended before your first use of LiveHealth Online at livehealthonline.com. Registration is quick, easy, and free. Be sure to enter your insurance information, as LiveHealth Online may be a covered benefit.

Some of the most common reasons for use of the LiveHealth Online kiosk include:

  • Cold and flu symptoms such as cough, fever, and headaches
  • Allergies
  • Sinus infections
  • Dermatology

Please note that LiveHealth Online is not for medical emergencies. If you’re experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately.
