The Campus Recreation Complex is proud to host the 2017 NIRSA Championship Series Regional Basketball Championship March 3 - 5, 2017. Teams from universities throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia will travel to Georgia Tech will compete in pool-play to earn the right to be seeded in the championship bracket.

Due to the three-day tournament, the 4th and 5th floor of the CRC, including the auxiliary gym and game room, will be closed to all patrons. The Georgia Tech community is welcome to attend all the games free of charge to cheer on the home teams.

NIRSA will be awarding the first and second place winner trophies. The first place winners in the men's and women's divisions also receive free entry for the 2017 NIRSA National Basketball Championships at The Ohio State University in April.
