Graduate students in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts go beyond studying the world to changing it. Ivan Allen College master’s degrees convey professional skills for industry or government. Doctoral degrees prepare scholars for research careers engaging important issues related to technology, globalization, and governance.

Ivan Allen College (IAC) sponsors master’s and doctoral degree programs in Digital Media, Economics, History and Sociology of Science and Technology, International Affairs, and Public Policy and co-sponsors master’s programs in Human-Computer Interaction and Urban and Regional Planning. Ivan Allen College also sponsors two graduate certificates, a doctoral one in Public Policy and one for all Georgia Tech graduate students in Science, Technology, and Society (STS), which offers interdisciplinary courses.

Ivan Allen College graduate programs specialize in developing students’ expertise and skills. With backgrounds in humanities or social sciences combined with technology, graduate alumni succeed in a variety of fields in government, industry, non-profits, and higher education institutions.

Schedule on Friday, January 13, 2017:

7:45-8:45am: Breakfast with Dr. Jacqueline Jones Royster, Dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. Breakfast will be held in Room 320 of the Student Center.              

9-11am: Visit a program to learn about admissions, funding, and curriculum:

11:30am-1:30pm: Lunch in the Gordy Room, Wardlaw Building with school chairs, faculty, and current graduate students
