This talk, by Michael Oxman, the new Managing Director of the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business in the Scheller College of Business, & Dr. Chris Anderson, Principal, Yirri Global, Research Associate at the Colorado School of Mines, and Adjunct Professor in the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland, will explore challenges and opportunities of business/community outreach, communication, and engagement drawing primarily from the energy and mining sectors.  Environmental and social "performance" among businesses is uneven and we will examine some of the ingredients for mutually beneficial community engagement processes and outcomes.
