In light of last week's events and the ongoing challenges facing our government, Dr. Larry Lindsey, Economic Advisor to President Bush and Director of the National Economic Council, has had to cancel his plans to speak at this week's Tennenbaum Lecture, originally scheduled for September 20 at 11:00 AM. He wishes to reschedule at a date to be determined later. At that time, he hopes to be able to give a better perspective on how the recent events and future military action could affect our economic policy.
Mr. Michael E. Tennenbaum supports this decision stating "In these perilous time, we do not want to divert Larry from his important tasks. We look forward to rescheduling this event." We will let you know when a new date is selected. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time.
