John Chapman has been recognized by President Bush for his outstanding achievements at NASA with a Presidential Rank Award - one of the highest honors given to career federal employees. He is manager of the Space Shuttle External Tank Project Office at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. . . .Chapman earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Tech in Atlanta in 1973.
