The Student Center Programs Council Movie Committee will screen James Cameron's “Avatar” (2009) at the Student Center Theater on Friday and Saturday. Cost to attend is $2 with a BuzzCard and $3 without. Free popcorn will be provided.
"Avatar" is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people.
Showtimes:
- Friday, April 23, at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
- Saturday, April 24, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
