Students who are applying to intern with the federal government should also explore possible funding through the Federal Jackets Fellowship, which offers $5,000 to help defray the cost of living while interning in Washington, D.C. Internships are of the applicant’s choosing but must be in D.C. and in the office of a member of Congress, with a Congressional Committee, or with an executive branch office in or around Washington, D.C.   http://www.gov.gatech.edu/internships/dc
