Who should attend?
- New and Returning middle school math, and science teachers, including academic support and special education teachers
- New and Returning middle and high school technology and engineering teachers
- Math and Science Instructional Coaches
- School administration delegates
- District Curriculum Coordinators
Why should I attend?
- This training is required for all AMP-IT-UP teacher participants to prepare for implementation in the 2016-2017 school year.
- All AMP-IT-UP teachers will receive a $100 per day stipend, as well as professional learning units, for attending the Summer Institute training sessions.
- Teachers will receive professional development for all AMP-IT-UP modules for their assigned grade level and content. Many of our modules will be modified over the summer to incorporate your feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- We will also release our newly developed math and science decision making modules that will be available for implementation starting in fall 2016.
Teachers, please complete the registration by Monday, May 23, 2016 so that we can communicate information with you over the summer. If you have a scheduling conflict, please email ampitup@gatech.edu to notify us and cc your principal.
