Student Conservation Association Internship

The Centennial Volunteer Ambassador is a year-long position designed to support parks around the country in expanding service and community engagement programs. This work will include:

  • Coordinating and hosting hands-on service project associated with national stewardship events (i.e. Earth Day, National Trails Day, National Public Lands Day, Martin L. King Day of Service)
  • Developing local events and supporting recurring group service opportunities
  • Utilizing traditional and social media to build connections in the communities

Eligibility

  • US Citizens ages 21-35
  • Available for 1 year beginning late May 2016
  • Open-minded and has an adventurous spirit
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Eager to act as an ambassador for SCA/NPS
  • A college graduate or has equivalent work experience
  • A licensed driver
  • Able to provide references and resume with their SCA application
