Please join Students Organizing for Sustainability (S.O.S) for their last meeting of the semester. S.O.S. advisor, Brent Verrill, will present his proposed design for the Georgia Tech Community Garden. Brent recently completed a Permaculture Design Certification course, the final project for which was a design for the GT Community Garden. He will talk about what Permaculture is, what he learned, and how this design methodology can be applied to the design of the GT Community Garden.

This meeting is open to anyone. Light refreshments will be served.

Brent Verrill is the Communications Manager for the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems at Georgia Tech.  He also serves as an advisor to S.O.S. He earned his Master’s degree from Georgia Tech in Industrial Design in 2002.
