Georgia Tech Hosts First Graduate School Fair

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech undergraduates who are curious about pursing a master’s degree or a Ph.D. will have a chance to explore graduate programs at the first-ever Georgia Tech Graduate Programs Fair April 5, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., in the Student Center Ballroom. The fair should help students who are curious about Georgia Tech’s graduate offerings as well as those who are considering graduate programs at other schools.

Co-sponsored the Center for Career Discovery and Development and the Office of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Programs Fair will include information sessions about applying to graduate school and writing an effective personal statement, as well as a panel of current graduate students, who will discuss graduate life. Tabling will take place in the ballroom, and all three break-out sessions will be available in nearby conference rooms.

Students who are considering graduate school but who aren’t certain about their path or next steps can meet with Dr. Shannon Dobranski for individual guidance about graduate school and careers in academia. Interested students can schedule an appointment for “pre-graduate” advising on http://gatech.gradesfirst.com.
