Students Win CoC Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award

The College of Computing would like to congratulate the winners of the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award for 2003-2004 - Gabriel Brostow and Christian Poellabauer. Brostow was selected for his dissertation "Novel Skeletal Representation for Articulated Creatures" and Poellabauer for "Q-Fabric: System Support for Continuous Online Quality Management." Brostow and Poellabauer have also been nominated by the College for the ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award. The dissertations were selected by a panel organized by Assistant Professor Tucker Balch.
